for over 40 years and served under various sensitive appointments
including organization of the CHOGUM and NAM, he planned to build
this hotel. The place was chosen as he has a fascination of the deserts
since he hails form the deserts and also has done his thesis in the
deserts

A well qualified and a highly experienced person in the wife of Maj.Gen.[Dr.] GC Bhandari. Being an army officers wife has had the opportunity to design, construct and decorate many army buildings has utilized all her expertise to design , construct and decorate hotel Dholamaru. In fact she has left no stone unturned in the construction of hotel Dholamaru for which she has been awarded the National Mahila Excellence Award at the national level by National Solidarity Council. |

He has gained experience by working in various capacities in a number of hotels like Hotel Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur and Hotel Sea Rock Sheriton and Hotel President in Bombay, has the experience of both, the construction and management of hotel. The management of Hotel Dholamaru is vested with him for the last 10 years. |
